The Underground Junk Hole

Where even the mice are evil!

I make custom action figures on my spare time, it's a fun hobby and it helps fill-in the holes in my figure collection. Odds are there are lots of our favorite characters the toy companies will never make, so it's up to us to make them.

(Note: I got the images for the banner from random sites, I love the art so I hope the owners don't mind me displaying their art like this)

Customs

These are some customs I've made, just the ones I like most. Take a look if you're thinking of hiring me for a commission or just looking for nifty stuff.

Work-In-Progress Thread - This is where I post all my WIP pictures, this way you can see what I do to a figure as I customize it!

Tutorials

I made these tutorials to try and simplify making customs. Painting tips, ways to disassemble figures, all sorts of useful info. When was the last time you saw a Cape-Storage tutorial? You can see one here! Check-out over 50 of these useful FigureRealm Tutorials!

Commissions

I do take commissions! I can make a decent custom as you can see in the links above. Prices will vary but generally I charge around $20 for simple repaints and $35 and up if there's some sculpting involved. Obviously, I'll charge more if I have to cover more costs.

Two Basic Rules:
  • I require you pay half the agreed price when I start working and the rest when I'm done, before I ship the figure back to you. This is a security measure all customizers have to take to prevent being scammed, thanks for understanding!
  • A custom is not meant to be played with, it will be damaged if handled too roughly. There are no refunds and no changes will be made once you receive the figure. It's important you describe exactly what you want right from the beginning to avoid problems. I will send you work-in-progress pictures so you can see what's being done.
Customizing is NOT cheap! I wrote a guide to Buying Customs which explains costs of making them and how to find a reputable customizer, it's almost finished and you can see it here:
