Nightmare's Nefarious Contests of Colorings
Since there will always be some people who don't like the Monthly Contest at FigureRealm, I hold a mini-contest to hopefully still get them involved in the fun. Usually I name them by colors, so once I run out of basic colors, I'll switch to names of different types of skirts. Or something.

Black Contest

It's called the Black Contest, so you know it's gonna be a pain in the neck to win! Below are two options you can choose between, you only have to do one or the other to have a chance to win the Prize. I'm going to throw all the contestants' names into a hat and pull a winner. Here are your choices:
A) Take moody, gloomy, or tragic pictures of your figures. Take pictures that make your figures look depressed, angry, bitter. Make them look sad, maybe deep in thought. Maybe capture an entire scene, like Batman running across a rooftop at night or Two-Face flipping his coin in a dark alley, trying to decide whether he should shoot the next guy he sees. How about Martian Manhunter sitting all alone in the Watchtower? How about Spiderman sitting all alone in his apartment, watching re-runs of Dirty Jobs, because Mary Jane is dating Dr. Octopus... just ask questions if you have 'em! Borrow a good camera, you can Photoshop your pictures too! (Earn 1 Entry Slip per submission.)
OR
B) Make a custom of a mostly-black figure. Examples: Batman Beyond, Punisher, Black Cat, Spawn, you get the idea. (Earn 4 EntrySlips per submission.)

How to Enter:
- Send pictures of your custom/scene, along with a description if necessary (recipe, backstory), to my email or you can PM your entry to me on the FigureRealm forum. You can just send the direct links to your pictures, I'll resize them if needed.
- There is NO limit to how many customs/pictures you can enter, any scale is acceptable too! Just remember that only 1 will win!
Nightmare's Notes:
- If you submit a Dark picture or scene, you get 1 EntrySlip. If you submit a custom, you get 4 EntrySlips! Every entry you submit earns you another piece of paper in the hat! Obviously it's not fair that taking four pictures equals making an entire custom, to fight this I'm going to be VERY picky with what pictures I accept. If they're out of focus, grainy, ugly, or just plain stupid, I'm rejecting them. I'll be more forgiving with customs.
- If a picture is extra awesome, it will count as 3 EntrySlips, if a custom is super-awesome it'll earn 6 EntrySlips! I'll video-tape myself picking the names out of the hat so you can see I'm not just flipping coins. Get creative! You may be surprised at what I accept!
- Pictures will be posted as I get them! I want you guys to see the submissions so you can steal ideas along the way! I want you to duke it out and shoot the most bad-bum, most blood-curdling, most terrifying pictures EVER!

White Contest
Three contestants entered swinging wildly, clinging desperately to whatever small hope there was that I might give them something worth more than the gum under my desk as a prize. It was delicious gum...Anyway, TransTorture won with a "What If?" version of Storm Shadow, and since I don't know anything about GI Joe history, I won't pretend to know what the hell he's talking about! "After the death of his uncle, Tommy wanted a chance to travel around the world fighting terrorist organizations specializing in taking out top leaders & their hired guns. Hoping to one day find the murderer of his uncle, former "brother" Snake Eyes, amongst terrorist ranks and take revenge against the cowardly betrayer. He got in touch(accidentally) with former 'Nam vet Lonso Wilkinson about recruitment in US Armed Forces, the rest is ...WHAT IF ? history."Green Contest
It's time for another side-quest on your journey to slay the Crusty Paint Monster and become a Customizing Master! Your challenge this time is to create any 5-INCH custom that relates to the Green Lantern mythos. You heard right, only 5-inch scale customs for this contest! Now's the perfect time to use-up all that old fodder from 10 years ago! We had two fierce competitors this time around and Deadman rose to the occasion!:
"Yeah, it's another Deadpool. Sue me. He's entirely a 5" The Batman figure (don't remember which one but his costume was black and light blue) with his ears removed and mouth and joints sculpted over for a smoother look. Also added a l'il blob of AS for his power ring."
"All Green Lanterns are capable of overcoming great fear, but few of them are too crazy to be afraid in the first place. Wade Wilson was chosen to be a Green Lantern in a desperate hour for the Corps, so desperate that his ring sought him out in another universe to bring him to Oa. Having no problem with killing and being able to regenerate his bodily tissues at an astonishing rate, "Deadpool," as he likes to call himself, was a great asset during the Sinestro Corps War. Now if only the Guardians can get him to stop creating constructs of Bea Arthur..."
Orange Contest
Fire! And lots of it! That's what I'm looking for in this contest! Make a custom of a fire-based character! If they breathe fire, they're in! If they shoot lava out their noses, they're in! Even if they just have "fire" in their names, they're acceptable! If you don't feel like making a fire-custom, then you can make a character that wears a big chunk of Orange, like Deathstroke or Hobgoblin or a city-worker with their bright orange saftey vest. Our pirate friend Kern won this round:

BURNING HYPER-NUCLEAR PULSE AIR GUITAR GODZILLA!
Nothing gets the King of the Monsters more charged up than a good rock and roll tune, and nothing pleases him more than a good old air guitar session! As his excitement mounts, his atomic energy builds until it bursts out of his body and provides his own light show..."
